About Course

Whether looking for flight arrangements online or through a travel service provider, making reservations, pricing the journey, collecting payments, and processing refunds and exchanges are all equally essential components of the travel profession. This course provides an overview of:

  • Domestic, trans-border, and international air tariff structures, applicable taxes, currency, and ticketing processes.
  • Accurate interpretation of itinerary and faring information is critical for a passenger to have a comfortable and event-free journey
  • Communicating with other industry professionals using the codes, calculations, and language commonly used will be the cornerstone of this course.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Define airfare terms, including international and mileage fares
  • Interpret and apply domestic fare and rule displays
  • Select and quote best fare option
  • Apply fare construction rules and principles
  • Determine the best fare for a given itinerary
  • Interpret transportation taxis
